it takes a mother to raise a child - influence, values, strength to be a better woman

“It takes a female to have a baby, it takes a woman to raise a child, it takes a mother to raise them correctly, it takes a warrior to show them how to change the world.” ~ Shannon L. Alder

Mother’s Day is just around the corner and this week I dedicate my #MondayMovesMe post to all the mothers. Mothers who did everything to raise their children and taught them how to be caring, giving, loving, strong, successful. How to be a better person and a better professional every single day. And how to become a better mother.
In my job I see mothers dressing their daughters on their wedding day, getting emotional when their girls or boys walk down the aisle, or when they dance with their sons. It is a very special moment that makes me think about my own mother and how grateful I am for having her.

I owe it all to my mother, she is the biggest role model in my life. She taught me values and gave me the strength to be who I am today.

Is (or was) your mother a role model for you? What did you learn from her?
