I will be speaking at Let’s Plan Conference
I’m very excited to announce that I’ll be a speaker at the upcoming Let’s Plan Conference next week, July 18-19 at the Bonaventure Resort in Weston, Florida.
The founder of Let’s Plan Conference is my friend Tawanda Sims, the owner of Elite Events Management. She is a certified and an award-winning event and wedding planner.
I met Tawanda through Periscope and I immediately fell in love with her personality, her style, and how she creates stunning weddings and events. Tawanda and her team of talented wedding planners (the fabulous Athena DeVonne and Shavonya Nickole) are working tirelessly to produce a one-of-a-kind conference for professionals in our industry.
Let’s Plan Conference is targeted towards Wedding and Event professionals. Whether you are starting out or you have a little experience in the industry, you will be able to learn from Tawanda, Athena, Shavonya, and from leading designers, cake decorators, florists, and branding strategists. There will be more than 20 experts as speakers or panelists (you can see the lineup ON THIS PAGE).
I’m truly honored to be one of the speakers at the conference this year. I will talk about one of the most critical components of a successful wedding design and planning business which is Vendor Relationships. I will have many tips, strategies and resources to share with all of you at the conference, I can’t wait!
Make sure that you register for the conference Let’s Plan Conference as soon as possible, space is very limited. There are different packages that you can choose from: these will include your registration and, depending on the package you choose, you can have your hotel stay, your flight, and VIP treatment included.
Are you attending? Have you ever attended an industry conference? Always do? Annually? Every other year? Twice a year?
I’m a huge advocate of continuous education, it doesn’t matter whether you are new in the industry or you have a decennial experience in your field. You should always learn, in this fast-paced world there are new trends, technologies and practices and it’s our job to keep up to date and always offer the best service to our clients. That applies to any business and you should attend an industry conference at least once a year.
Conferences are the best place to learn business strategies and the latest trends from the best and most successful in those industries. In order to be a better professional, you need to learn from the successful professionals.
