It’s Monday, and you know how I feel about Mondays! New week, new great things happening. Don’t blame it on Monday for your negativity, don’t blame it on the weekend that just ended and now you have to go back to work. For some of us Monday is just another day (especially if you are a solo entrepreneur like me) but there’s something very appealing about Mondays. You start fresh, you look at a whole new week ahead of you, something like a blank canvas waiting to be painted. Waiting to make something great, memorable. Why not start today? Make this day special and you’ll be more excited to work for the rest of your week!
I’ll share my little secret for starting a new week with a bang. On Sunday evening take some time (it could be half an hour or an hour) to go over your ideas, plans, projects, and what you want to accomplish during the coming week, Put them in a list and use it as a reference starting on Monday morning. Don’t make a to-do list with 20 items or you will be overwhelmed just by looking at it. Instead, concentrate on 2-3 priorities and focus on those this week. It’s part of your monthly goals and you break them down in smaller actionable steps. Easy. Have a plan BEFORE starting your week. That will give you advantage and you’ll be ready to tackle the week as soon as you wake up on Monday morning! The energy and enthusiasm for the new week will be perfect to make your week memorable!
