Look the world straight in the eye
“Never bend your head. Always hold it high. Look the world straight in the eye” ~ Helen Keller
What a powerful quote! This week’s inspiration is Helen Keller, the prolific American author, political activist, and lecturer who was the first deaf-blind person to earn a bachelor of arts degree. Keller is the perfect example of a woman who didn’t stop in front of anything, who inspired many, and who fought for women’s rights despite her hearing impairment.
We often hide behind excuses and we miss opportunities that seem difficult to handle because “we’re not good for that”, or because “we don’t have the time to dedicate”. We miss chances that might bring greater things to our life and the life of those around us.

This quote is about courage, it’s about confidence, it’s about the intention to achieve higher things in life. Don’t stop, believe in you, give to others, don’t be afraid of adversities, don’t jeopardize your chance of success, don’t give up. There are a lot of possibilities in the world, and you can take advantage of them. Just start, one step at a time, and fight for what you love and want.
