I’m a #LifeWorkBalance Strategist for creative entrepreneurs looking to adopt a healthier lifestyle, elevate their brand, amplify their visibility, develop a winning mindset, and increase their sales #USABizParty pic.twitter.com/q5vaJx08so— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
Really looking forward to learning more. Have been working 80+ hours per week for the last number of years and want to change that asap #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— IPA Group (@IPAGroupEn) October 16, 2018
A1 (2/3): I live in San Diego, California with my husband and our son, and we’re owned by a Himalayan cat, Miss Mocha #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
A1 (3/3): My signature program, #LifeWorkBalance consists of five basic and very important principles that you can start incorporating today and they will change your life forever. We’ll take a look at them during the chat #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
A1. Hi everyone, I’m Esther, waving from Northern Ireland. We are a small digital marketing agency – big enough to handle it, small enough to care #usabizparty #LifeWorkBalance
— IPA Group (@IPAGroupEn) October 16, 2018
A1. (1/2) Anna here from Del Rio, TX. Just had 2 big life events this week–My youngest daughter got her driver’s license and my son bought a car with his own money!! Speaking of #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Anna Scheller (@SchellerAnna) October 16, 2018
A1 (2/2) I work in the hospitality industry and I coach business owners in sales and leadership. Quite a bit going on. Striving to spend more time with my family these days #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Anna Scheller (@SchellerAnna) October 16, 2018
Q2. What does #LifeWorkBalance mean to you, and how do you think it’s different from work-life balance? #USABizParty
— USABizparty (@USABizparty) October 16, 2018
I didn’t think there was a difference @SabrinaCadini but I’m willing to learn #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— IPA Group (@IPAGroupEn) October 16, 2018
A2 (1/2): For me life comes first, then work can get done. We must take care of ourselves before taking care of others #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
Easier said than done in some cases? #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— USABizparty (@USABizparty) October 16, 2018
A2 (2/2): We are human beings, not human doings, and I believe you all agree with me that life is a precious gift. When you’re sick, nothing else matters, right? Our health is our wealth #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
That is very true, although unfortunately for some if they don’t work (even when sick) there is no income – how can they start preventing that from now? #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— USABizparty (@USABizparty) October 16, 2018
Excellent point! Prevention, taking care of yourself starting today is the key for a better and healthier future #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
Are we talking vitamins? Can’t wait to hear more… #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— USABizparty (@USABizparty) October 16, 2018
A2 Interesting question. When @SabrinaCadini and I first spoke about joining us today, I put Work before life. Putting Life ahead of work is what we know to do, but in our fast paced world, we get it turned around! #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Anna Scheller (@SchellerAnna) October 16, 2018
I think everybody is used to put work before life! LOL But to me it doesn’t make much sense, I want to live first #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
YES! Agree 100% Life first. The rest will fall into place #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— USABizparty (@USABizparty) October 16, 2018
Q3. What are habits that can lead to an unhealthy #LifeWorkBalance and do you / did you experience any of them? #USABizParty
— USABizparty (@USABizparty) October 16, 2018
A3 (1/2): I found myself working non-stop, sleeping just a few hours per night, eating a lot of carbs and irresistible sweets, and skipping exercise when I had important deadlines #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
Oh that sounds just like me! #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— IPA Group (@IPAGroupEn) October 16, 2018
I think many of us experience / experienced that in our life, Esther. But there’s a way to eliminate that vicious cycle #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
Just yesterday, I made room in my schedule to go to the gym. I was glad I did! #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Anna Scheller (@SchellerAnna) October 16, 2018
Making room in the calendar is key. I’m starting to block off times each day to not work and spend time with my family #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— IPA Group (@IPAGroupEn) October 16, 2018
That’s fantastic, Esther! Do you see any improvements in your professional life? Less stress and happier thoughts, perhaps? #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
When I say “I’m starting” I only started today lol BUT because I blocked off a few hours today after my kids got out of school it meant I could help my brother and pick up his kids too #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— IPA Group (@IPAGroupEn) October 16, 2018
I’m sure over time I’ll see a lot of improvement – once clients also get used to the reduced work time #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— IPA Group (@IPAGroupEn) October 16, 2018
Yes, that’s a very good point, Esther. Always let clients know what they should expect from you in terms of workload, time frame, and level of assistance #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
A3 (2/2): All this took a toll on me, but it was a blessing because it opened my eyes, I was able to find a solution and change for the better #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
Q4. Did you ever experience burnout and how did you overcome it? #USABizParty #LifeWorkBalance
— USABizparty (@USABizparty) October 16, 2018
A4: I experienced burnout in 2011 and it was horrible! I felt I had lost my creative spark, I wasn’t able to serve my clients in a satisfactory way, and I felt depressed #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
I had a similar experience not so long ago. It’s so debilitating #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— IPA Group (@IPAGroupEn) October 16, 2018
Sorry to hear! If I may ask: in your opinion was your burnout self-induced or the result of pressures that others (perhaps an employer) put on you? #USABizParty
— Mark Carruthers (@MarkC_Avgi) October 16, 2018
Self-induced for sure, Mark. As a self-employed and extremely ambitious woman I wasn’t able to say “no” to more work because I loved my job, but my body (and mind) couldn’t take it #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
As I guessed, based on what you had said in earlier tweets. Many are quick to blame employers for burnout, whereas it is often their own desire to excel & advance. Certainly employers are going to welcome extra efforts & hours, but not sure who is really to “blame”. #USABizParty
— Mark Carruthers (@MarkC_Avgi) October 16, 2018
Exactly, Mark. And when you take a look at yourself as the most important factor things can change and improve your quality of life #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
I have told many young people that there is no job that is worth the deterioration of your health.
I have fought burnout throughout my career & learned that health & happiness are THE 2 things most important in life! #USABizParty— Mark Carruthers (@MarkC_Avgi) October 16, 2018
So true, Mark! Die young with a lot of money, or live a meaningful life filled with memorable moments and with the right amount of money to enjoy your pleasures? I choose option 2 #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
This👇👇👇👍👍!! Absolutely! …and should we work ourselves to death to leave it to someone else I.e. the next generation? Many struggle with that decision, it seems! #USABizParty https://t.co/Ktb6EULuGi
— Mark Carruthers (@MarkC_Avgi) October 16, 2018
That’s why I left a 6 figure corporate life. It was killing me. Much better now. Although I still feel guilty and/or depressed if I get nothing done. #USABizParty #LifeWorkBalance
— Nelson Creations (@NelsonCreations) October 16, 2018
It can be so distracting working from home too – there’s always things to do around the house #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— IPA Group (@IPAGroupEn) October 16, 2018
Yes!!!!! I do a few chores or errands and it’s like where did my afternoon go so then I work late because I have to feel accomplished. #USABizParty #LifeWorkBalance
— Nelson Creations (@NelsonCreations) October 16, 2018
True, Esther. I have a list of do’s and dont’s for my clients who work from home. It’s very easy to get distracted and waste precious time #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
That’s so true Mark. As an employer I need to be aware of my employees’ needs as well as my own #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— IPA Group (@IPAGroupEn) October 16, 2018
Do you think we, as women, are less likely to say no to work? I see my husband (also self-employed) able to go off to play football/soccer 4 times per week… #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— IPA Group (@IPAGroupEn) October 16, 2018
Perhaps my opinion may be biased as a man, but I don’t think the willingness (or not) to say no to work is not a gender thing but much more an individual thing based on the individual’s personality, work habits & desire to excel. #USABizParty
— Mark Carruthers (@MarkC_Avgi) October 16, 2018
Yes, definitely, Esther. Especially if you own your business (like I do) you can get overwhelmed with work, family, kids, and there seems to be no time for yourself. We’re always the caregivers #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
Yes, that’s exactly what it is. Husband and I work in the same business but it’s mum the kids want #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— IPA Group (@IPAGroupEn) October 16, 2018
I agree 100% here, Mark. It’s about how we perceive work. The secret for me is not to fall victim of it anymore #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
Speaking personally, I feel so responsible for everyone else, it’s hard to put my “to do” list down sometimes. Taking time to be more mindful has help me to step back and examine if I can give that to someone else. (Like my newest driver!) #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Anna Scheller (@SchellerAnna) October 16, 2018
Here at IPA we encourage everyone to write down just 3 priorities to get done each day. As long as everything gets done on time, it doesn’t matter what hour of the day it’s done at. We like to take long lunches, chat around the table etc. It works #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— IPA Group (@IPAGroupEn) October 16, 2018
A4. That happens when we are overworked. When I don’t care about my clients or my family, I know I need to rest and have self-care! #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Anna Scheller (@SchellerAnna) October 16, 2018
A4 (2/2): But I decided I deserved a better life, I had a better purpose. I started focusing on ME, I was able to gain control of my life, find more time to dedicate to my personal and professional life #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
I start to feel quite agitated if I don’t get out in the fresh air or near water for a few days. Love the longer days when its possible to go for evening walks #USABizparty https://t.co/Sh7hij4nQC
— @irishhealthhour (@irishhealthhour) October 16, 2018
I love that, I’m like you! Your body is clearly telling you something and you are listening to it 🙂 #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
Q5. How do you incorporate #LifeWorkBalance in your short- and long-term goals? #USABizParty
— USABizparty (@USABizparty) October 16, 2018
Mark from near London in SW Ontario 🇨🇦 joining the #USABizParty chat (late). Had an appointment this morning & then had errands to run.
Wanted to be here for this very important topic & have just been catching up to the tweets.— Mark Carruthers (@MarkC_Avgi) October 16, 2018
A5 (1/2): I always make sure that there’s time for ME in my short-term and long-term goals. What are my needs as a human being? #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
That’s very interesting. Most times our goals don’t include us or we’re just a consequence of them. #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— USABizparty (@USABizparty) October 16, 2018
Yes, and it happened to me all the times! I never included myself in the equation. We’re always caring for others but we neglect ourselves #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
What else do you do during your self care time? #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Anna Scheller (@SchellerAnna) October 16, 2018
I take mini breaks during the day (it recharges my brain), I spend time in nature (it boosts my creativity) – Mini vacations are also in order 🗺️ #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
A5 (2/2): All of my business goals include non-negotiable personal goals (exercise 1 hour more a week during a particular project because I know it will increase clarity and I will get better results, etc.) #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
Q6. How important is self-care to you in your daily life? #USABizParty #LifeWorkBalance
— USABizparty (@USABizparty) October 16, 2018
A6 (1/2): Self-care is the foundation of a balanced life. Without it your health and job will be negatively affected. #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
A6 (2/2): You should always make room for your morning routine (emails can wait!), eat whole and nutrient foods to get sustained energy, exercise daily to increase mood and productivity, and sleep at least 7-8 hours to detox and recharge your brain #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
Lots of great pearls of wisdom from @SabrinaCadini #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— IPA Group (@IPAGroupEn) October 16, 2018
A6. I know I need it but don’t do it enough. I get away for an hour to a spa once every 2 months with my best friend but I know I need more – it’s the vicious circle though of “if I had more money…” #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— IPA Group (@IPAGroupEn) October 16, 2018
A6 Very important. I have made a point of having lunch once a week with my children and I take time every morning to pray and meditate. I’m also learning Hebrew, which is fun for me! #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Anna Scheller (@SchellerAnna) October 16, 2018
Q7. Where else can we find and support you? Please include links #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— USABizparty (@USABizparty) October 16, 2018
A7: I can’t wait to connect with each of you!
You can find me at https://t.co/NrQCeb5Dzu. Make sure you download my #LifeWorkBalance How-To Guide on the website for more information #USABizParty— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
Q8. How can #LifeWorkBalance help your well-being? #USABizParty
— USABizparty (@USABizparty) October 16, 2018
A8 (1/2): Our body is a fascinating and sophisticated eco-system that wants to be and stay healthy. Apply the following five principles to your everyday life #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
A8 (2/2): 1) Eat better, 2) Sleep more, 3) Exercise regularly, 4) Love yourself (self-care), and 5) Own your life. Your body and mind will thank you and keep you away from stress, depression, and disease #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
Ok I’m already doing 1 and 2 and plan to start 3 this week. 4 and 5 will follow #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— IPA Group (@IPAGroupEn) October 16, 2018
Q9 How can #LifeWorkBalance help your business goals? #USABizParty
— USABizparty (@USABizparty) October 16, 2018
A9 (1/4): You might think sleeping less (more time for work?), eating fast food (no time to cook?), and skipping exercise (no time for that?) will give you more hours to work and make money… #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
A9 (2/4): Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way, and your quality of work will eventually decrease (fatigue, depression, etc.) #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
Been there, done that. Escaped the corporate world and trying to do better. #USABizParty #LifeWorkBalance
— Nelson Creations (@NelsonCreations) October 16, 2018
A9 (3/4): When you take care of yourself first by following the five principles in A8, you will actually take action and achieve your goals in less time because you have more energy and clarity #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
A9 (4/4): Your body and mind will become your ally. You will improve confidence, focus, productivity, and you will become more successful = more profitable #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
It all makes complete sense so why aren’t more people doing it?? #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— IPA Group (@IPAGroupEn) October 16, 2018
Most of my coaching clients hire me because they don’t know where to start with #LifeWorkBalance, or they try for a week and they don’t see any improvements. The key is to create healthy habits and stick to them, it takes about two weeks to see changes #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
I’ll stick it out then and kick those bad habits. Thanks so much for all your advice today Sabrina. It was great to “meet” you. #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— IPA Group (@IPAGroupEn) October 16, 2018

— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
A10 (3/4): There’s much more than trying to find a few hours to relax or setting boundaries between you and your clients. It all starts in your body! #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
A10 (4/4): Take action and make the change today, one little step at a time #LifeWorkBalance #USABizParty
— Sabrina Cadini (@SabrinaCadini) October 16, 2018
