Book update: Two weeks of writing and still going!

Many of you probably know I started writing my book two weeks ago after joining the NaNoWriMo Challenge (you can read about it HERE). I’m very excited to see that I’m still writing and I’ve been consistent for two weeks! It’s Day 15 and I surpassed the 25,000 mark (26,169 words so far). When you participate in NanoWriMo, you’re encouraged to write 50,000 words in a month (November 1-30), and I am 100% on track! I feel so proud of myself for being committed.

As author Malinda Lo said: “The only thing that needs to show up every day is yourself—and your determination to see this through to the end.” Do you agree?

The book will be about life-work balance, my personal experience and what I learned during my journey towards a new life, thanks to better eating, adequate sleep, regular exercise, and self-care. And that’s not all: my cat, Miss Mocha, has a very special role in the book because I think cats (like many pets) can teach us a lot about the quality of life.

I would love to know what you’d like to read in my book, what you’d like to learn, and if you have specific questions on how to achieve life-work balance. Please let me know in the comments below so that I can make sure I will address your challenges in the book.

Also, if you are on Periscope (or on Twitter), come join me every night (10pm-ish Pacific) where I’ve been documenting my writing journey. I’m also collecting fantastic feedback from my wonderful viewers, and you can be part of the fun chit chats 🙂
