Gratitude is just in front of you

Continuing my gratitude series (we’re in November and Thanksgiving is this week), I chose this beautiful quote by Brené Brown.
Practicing gratitude is more important (and easier, I believe) than we think. It allows us to see and experience what many others don’t notice. It allows us to live and enjoy special moments in our day that others may not notice either. A lot of us live but don’t experience the beauty around us. There’s a lot of anger and evil in today’s world, but when you can see the positive side you shine. And gratitude attracts positivity.
Since I started practicing gratitude for everything I have in my life, my whole perspective shifted from “I wish” to “I can”. Everything that I wanted and I thought “maybe it’s not for me” became accessible in one way or another. And my happiness improved because this new attitude opened new doors and brought more abundance. I’m not talking about money – money is just one benefit but doesn’t bring happiness, in my opinion. I’m talking about opportunities, friendships, results, advantages, both in my personal and professional life. It’s as if I switched the lights on, and now I can see what’s around me. All that deserves my gratitude for more, every single day.
