My word for 2022: CHOICE
It took me a while to select the word for 2022. I don’t really know what to expect from this year but, being extremely positive, I’m always excited about what lies ahead. And knowing what I want to become better at every opportunity, I know the choices I want to make for myself, my life, my career, my future.
In life, we CAN choose what we want to focus on.
We can decide whether to be busy with things that matter, or to be busy with things that do not, and get stressed.
We can choose whether to adopt healthy lifestyle habits or not, and that can have a tremendous impact in our everyday operations.
This is something that I shared in Episode 3 of my video series, Your Weekly Dose of Life-Work Balance, on YouTube, talking about habits: “We need to become aware of why we’re doing what we’re doing, and then use our willpower to choose what we want to change. Then, start repeating that behavior until it becomes automatic, and our brain learns that new habit.” This applies to everything we do every single day.
