Timeboxing For Productivity (Video) – Episode 16 of Your Weekly Dose of Life-Work Balance
In this week’s video, I talked about how to create a zero-based calendar to optimize your productivity and make time for the important things in life. Watch below!
Timeboxing is my favorite scheduling technique that I always suggest to my clients, where you basically account for every minute in your day. I mean, you’re very protective about the things you own, shouldn’t you protect the time you own as well? Sometimes time is overlooked, but it’s our most valuable resource in life.
A zero-based calendar looks complicated and time-consuming at first, but if you use it with the digital calendar of your choice, like Google Calendar, it is very easy to use and manage, and it is very efficient.

Sometimes mastering your calendar is not enough to organize a hectic life between work, family, and maybe school. There’s too much going on, and I get it. Life is stressful for everyone, but maybe you’re missing some of the basics that your body and brain need to give you the results you want in life and at work.
