What is mindful eating?

Mindful eating helps you enjoy your food in a much more fulfilling and complete way: you bring attention and awareness to aromas, flavors, and textures, you reconnect with all of your senses, and you increase appreciation for the food you eat.

Not only that: we can all agree that food is our fuel, it gives us energy. But it’s a lot more than that: food is information for our genes, it gives biological instructions to our bodies to promote health. Shouldn’t we pay closer attention to the food we eat and celebrate our meals?

What happens during a Nourishing Bites Workshop:

During the workshop, I’ll share about the science behind mindful eating, and the importance of the gut-brain connection, followed by a quick tour of the digestion process. After that, I will guide you through a mindful eating practice while you eat your lunch. You will follow various prompts, allowing you to savor every aspect of your culinary experience one sense at a time and building a practice that celebrates each bite.

By the workshop’s end, you’ll receive useful resources to stay consistent with your practice, even with a busy schedule.

Whether it’s an individual or group setting, I offer customizations tailored to your needs, with varying durations, although I recommend dedicating at least one hour to fully immerse yourself in this transformative exercise.
